When you allow your body to deeply relax, it moves from being a vessel of resistance, of having to work to make everything happen, to being a portal for abundance with inspiration as the guiding force, moving into a state of flow
where things are accomplished with simple ease.
Making time each day to deeply relax realigns the body with that of the Spirit. In this harmonious alignment, all things naturally
Fall in to Grace.
My favorite relaxing endeavors:
an evening hot bath
yin or restorative yoga
quiet or guided meditation
mindful prayer
to contemplate a candle flame
laughter
sensuous kissing
indulging in a sauna
a self massage or one from another
sipping chamomile or other sleepy time tea
mindful breath work
listening to soft music
a daily power nap
a Reiki treatment
an energy balancing session
sitting by a water fountain
basking in the early morning or late afternoon sunshine
being in nature
cuddling
reading a novel
listening to a natural recording of rain or of a bubbling creek
watching a nature video of a waterfall or a running stream
eating tryptophan rich foods like my favorite raspberry banilla nice cream
engaging in regular activity
petting my canine and/or feline companions
gazing in to someone’s eyes, may be a pet, a friend or a loved one
mindfully relaxing one muscle at a time:
beginning with the forehead, the eyes, the cheeks, the mouth, the jaw
and continuing all the way to the feet
