~A fudge lover’s favorite~
A decadent feel good indulgence for any occasion (minus the guilt), these brownies are favored by fudge and nut lovers alike.
Organic Raw Ingredients:
1 cup chopped Brazil nuts (dehydrated)
2 cups pitted medjool dates (pressed firmly into cup)
6 T. cocoa powder
Directions:
Chop the Brazil nuts. Set aside 1/2 cup chopped nuts for later.
Place remaining nuts, dates and cocoa in a food processor with an S-blade.
Blend until smooth and mix well.
Place mixture on a large flat cookie sheet or pyrex pan.
Press into a large rectangle or square to the thickness of your liking.
Spread remaining nuts evenly on top.
Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Cut into small 1” – 1 1/2” squares.
Place on to serving dishes or store between wax paper in a sealed glass container in the
refrigerator up to six months or pending on the climate, you can store at room temperature.
Prep time: 15 – 20 minutes
Yields: approximately 2 dozen brownies
Tips:
Prepare with other varieties of nuts such as raw pecans, filberts, macadamias, etc.
Cut the nuts in half for lower fat content.
