Raw Cacoa (Chocolate) Mint Shake
Bananas and cacao are rich in potassium. Potassium not only lowers inflammation in the body, it decreases stress on the cells and thereby decreases the risk of heart disease. Cacao is also rich in iron, protein, magnesium, fiber and flavonoids which are helpful to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow to the heart and the brain preventing blood clots. According to web md, “the flavonoids in cacao powder may help increase insulin sensitivity, reducing risk of diabetes.”
