Chia seeds are a versatile food and easy to incorporate into most any meal. I also add them to smoothies and crackers or prepare them as a milk. They make a great topping for cereal, hot or cold and for those that bake, they make an excellent egg substitution, thickening or moistening agent. I recommend enjoying chia seeds at breakfast or lunch rather than at dinner or as a dessert. Given their amazing nutritional profile, they are naturally energizing and are a perfect way to boost your body and your brain and vitalize your day.
