The Power of Intention

 

Do consciousness and intention matter?  A science experiment conducted by researcher Dean Radin of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) shows that it most certainly does.  This amazing study may provide insight and lend support to the mechanisms that are at work in the healing techniques of Distance Reiki and other distance energy healing and distance energy psychology treatments falling under the umbrella of Quantum Healing.

There is a well known phenomena in Quantum Science known as the Particle/Wave Duality of Light.  First discovered in an optical experiment, the study began with the projection of a light beam through a double vertical slit in which the light was reflected against a backdrop.  The experiment was filmed and when the experiment was not being physically observed by a human, the camera captured the light  as a pattern consistent with the formation of a wave.  Interestingly enough, when someone observed the experiment, while still being filmed,  the resulting light pattern behaved as if it is made up of particles.  This was a profound discovery:  the mere observation of something has the capacity to change it at the quantum level.  Radin took the experiment a step further to determine what might occur with intention rather than observation.  Setting up the experiment, he had participants not physically observe the experiment but to imagine doing so only in their mind’s eye only while the projection of light was still being filmed.   Radin was surprised to find that the participants were able to literally collapse the wave function of the light.  He wondered if intention had the power to change the light pattern in close proximity to the experiment itself, what would happen if participants were in remote locations.  He broadened the experiment to include this aspect of distance with some participants within only a few miles and some located 70,000 miles across the globe.  He was even more surprised to discover the same result with 100% of the participants able to collapse the wave formation in to particles.  In this way, he discovered that,  Intention can change reality at the quantum level and the effect is the same whether in close or far proximity.
