When we no longer able to
change a situation,
we are challenged to
change ourselves.
– Viktor E. Frankl
Viktor Frankl, an Austrian neurologist and psychiatrist, was a holocaust survivor who suffered and witnessed unimaginable atrocities and yet was known to keep humor as a pillar of strength to others. May we draw from his courage to progress forward while keeping balance within ourselves for the sake of ourselves and our community. Viktor shows us that we are stronger than we think and that difficult times cultivate enriching experiences allowing one deeper reflection, growth and gratification. He went on to be a best selling author and is most renowned for Man’s Search for Meaning.
