Everyday we are changing. No one is the same person as when he or she was born. Our bodies change, our minds change, our thoughts change, our attitudes change, our friends change, our lives change.
While circumstances arise and unfold, how we choose to respond to our environment decides the direction the change will take. Our thoughts directly influence the change we experience. Each of us is in control of our thinking and we can choose to think positive (loving) thoughts or we can choose to think negative (fearful) thoughts. Our thoughts determine our outlook, our perspective and ultimately our experience.
Be aware of your change as the metamorphosis unfolds. Do you like who you are becoming? Ask yourself how you feel in this moment and you will know if your thoughts are mostly positive (loving) or negative (fearful). If you do not like how you are feeling, you can choose to adjust your thinking.
Your thoughts determine your feelings. How do you want to feel? Your feelings determine your actions. How do you want to be remembered? You are in control of your thinking at all times. It is up to you to discipline yourself, to move from the fearful to the loving. This is not to say that you become blissfully ignorant, more that you become consciously detached.
Change is happening all the time for everyone. As you change, you positively or negatively influence those around you. As you appreciate and love who you are, you will find you will have more to appreciate and love in life.
